Registration Information

The 15th National Auditing Conference, organised by the Auditing Special Interest Group of the BAA and with the support of the Manchester University, will take place in the Chancellors Hotel & Conference Centre in Manchester, UK on Friday 31st March & Saturday 1st April 2006.

Registration Fee includes:

  • Programme and Proceedings Pack including full copies of the papers presented
  • List of Registrants
  • Meals and Refreshments according to the registration fee paid (see below)
  • Accommodation according to the registration fee paid (see below)
  • Name Badge

Registration fee:

The following CONFERENCE PACKAGES are offered:

Residential 1 (includes conference attendance, Friday night’s  accommodation & conference dinner, and lunch & refreshments on both days):

£235 charge full rate                            £130 charge Doctoral Student 

Non-residential (includes conference attendance, lunch and refreshments on both days):

            £135 charge full rate                            £60 charge Doctoral Student 

Daily rate (includes conference attendance, lunch and refreshments on one day):

Friday 31 March

£70 charge full rate                              £40 charge Doctoral Student

Saturday 1 April

£70 charge full rate                              £40 charge Doctoral Student 

Friday conference dinner

            £30 charge full rate                              £20 charge Doctoral Student

Accompanying Person

If your accompanying person wishes to participate in the Friday conference dinner, then £40 charge will be applied. Please indicate this on the registration form

 

Doctoral Students

We can accept only a small number of doctoral students paying the Doctoral Student rate, and as a result early registration is encouraged. In addition, doctoral students are required to submit their doctoral thesis proposal, and a letter of support from their first supervisor.

Special Food Requirements
Delegates attending the 16th National Auditing Conference in Manchester who require vegetarian meals must so indicate on the registration form.

Special Access Requirements
Delegates planning to attend this conference who have special needs are requested to notify ilias G. Basioudis, i.g.basioudis@aston.ac.uk or +44 (0) 121 2043024 to facilitate identification and accommodation of these needs by the Organisers.

Registration Deadline
There is no registration deadline. (However, early Registrations are encouraged so the organisers would be able to make adequate plans)

Register by Post (Cheque)

  • Make cheques payable to "Manchester University".
  • Post registration forms and cheques to: ilias G. Basioudis, Aston Business School, Aston University, Birmingham, B4 7ET, UK.

Register by Fax (VISA, MasterCard, or Switch/Solo)

  • If you pay by credit card (VISA or MasterCard only) or debit card (Switch/Solo), you may fax your registration form to +44 121 (0) 204 4915
  • Bear in mind that a fixed rate fee of £5 is charged to those paying by credit or debit card
  • If you post the registration form to ilias G Basioudis that was previously faxed, please indicate that on the form

Register by Invoicing your Organisation

  • You need to provide us with a Purchase Order Number

Registration Changes

Cancellation Policy

  • All cancellations must be received in writing by ilias G. Basioudis, email: i.g.basioudis@aston.ac.uk or fax: +44 (0) 121 204 4915 in order to be processed
  • Fees will be refunded (less 25% administration charge) for cancellations received before 28 February 2006
  • No refunds will be available for cancellations after February 28, or for no-shows.
