Registration InformationThe 29th Audit & Assurance Conference, organised by the Auditing Special Interest Group of the BAFA and with the support of Aston Business School, will take place in the Aston Conference Centre, in Birmingham, UK on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th May 2019. REGISTRATION FEES AND PROCEDURE: The CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEE for both days is as follows: Conference Fee (includes conference attendance, conference pack, lunch on both days, conference dinner, and refreshments on both days): UK £270 charge full rate UK £120 charge Doctoral Student
Doctoral Students We can accept only a small number of doctoral students paying the Doctoral Student rate, and as a result early registration is encouraged. In addition, doctoral students, taking advantage of the Doctoral Student rate, are required to submit their doctoral thesis proposal, and a letter/email of support from their first supervisor. ACCOMMODATION: Please book accommodation directly with any of the hotels that we recommend. Please book accommodation directly with the Aston Conference venue website. Aston Conference provides modern bedrooms in the same building where the conference takes place. In addition, there are other hotels and serviced apartments around the conference venue, which you can easily found on Google or using the following websites: www.trivago.co.uk or www.kayak.co.uk or www.airbnb.co.uk Woodcock Sports Facilities Conference Aston residential and hotel guests may enjoy complimentary use of the Woodcock Sports centre located opposite the hotel on Aston Street. The Victorian venue offers Birmingham’s oldest working swimming pool, a 110 station gymnasium, sauna, steam room and changing facilities.
